Best Offer

Feature Request

There needs to be an option, like eBay, where you can add “Best Offer” option that will be emailed to the admin. This will allow the Admin to Accept, Counter or Decline the offer. If it’s accepted, then the user automatically pays with their credit card on file….or at the lest is notified that their offer is accepted and they need to pay right away.

    Thanks for your suggestion for a “Best Offer” feature. Unfortunately, this isn’t something that’s currently possible for a third-party developer to implement on Squarespace. Product pricing in Squarespace is fixed at the platform level, and there’s no way for a plugin to create conditional or negotiable pricing logic. Similarly, payment details cannot be vaulted on this platform due to security and platform restrictions.

    For something like this to work, Squarespace would need to build native support directly into the platform — both to handle the pricing flow and securely manage offer-based transactions. I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request directly to Squarespace.
